The news is in people… CSI is cancelled. Oh the horror for all you fans out there. But the worst news is that CSI Cyber is being renewed. Nooooooo!!!!!!!
Why oh why, oh why? I’ve been so intellectually stunned by this news, I couldn’t bring myself around to ranting about it until now.
Where have you gone wrong America? How have you gone so wrong? I understand, CSI has come to the end of its life cycle, it was an old formula which has lost its shine. And we all think we are now forensic experts and can execute the perfect murder. So, CSI has now come to its natural network television death.
But for CSI: Cyber to get another season, I feel like someone should get slapped for that. Does anyone actually think that Cyber is quality television? Or are you just tuning in to see what stupidity they twaddle off onto us this week? I know I’m tuning in to see how big a train wreck one show can be.
Week after week, Cyber proves that it is one of the worst high quality television productions out there. The script is stale, the characters boring as they come, the acting is pedestrian at best. The technology mumbo-jumbo is so stupid that even I know what’s going on. Making clone websites takes you so much time? Ahhh… you just copy and paste the code man… “ctrl+c” and “ctrl+v”. Any idiot can tell you that, you don’t need a world class hacker.
Yo, Cyber, if you need some actual hackers or anti-hackers, give me a buzz, I’ve got a few crazy tech gods on my stalkerbook list, who can legitimise your show’s title and actually help you out with your lack of tech knowledge.
I have concluded that I must take responsibility for my own action, if I wasn’t tuning in to Cyber, I wouldn’t be helping legitimise it as a viable show. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. And now that I’ve tuned in to almost every episode, it is clear that the biggest fool is me.
I will now go do the walk of shame… oh wait, no-one really knows what I look like, so, I shall pretend that I’ve never watched an episode and lie as I smile through other people’s rants.
Ignorance is bliss, and when it comes to Cyber, perhaps if you are completely ignorant, you’ll find it entertaining? That’s a possibility, right? Unless this show does a major rework, I just can’t see it as quality entertainment, or entertainment, period. It’s really detainment of your intelligence, time, sense of humour, wit, communication skills, etc. The list just goes on.
Annoyance factor: 8/10, I don’t have to watch Cyber, I chose to. Why? So I can rant and be annoyed. I have only myself to blame. I can’t even be bothered to rate this piece of television mastery.
