WANT TO END YOUR RELATIONSHIP? TATTOO THEIR NAME

What better way to cement your devotion and love when you’re a celebrity other than inking your love’s name and/or renewing your wedding vows?  There is nothing more romantic, more true to your love, than declaring it in this form.

Well, in truth, anything is better.  It’s basically the kiss of death for a relationship.

Relationships seem to not last very long after these grand romantic gestures.  Just to list a few who’ve inked and ended, we’ve got:

  1. Angelina Jolie – Billy Bob, we all know how that ended. She’s now got Brad, no name tattooed, but she’s got his birth co-ordinates, one up there.
  2. Melanie Griffith – Antonio, they had been married for over a decade, so, maybe not the kiss of death, unlike the others?
  3. Denise Richards – Charlie, yeah… enough said.
  4. Johnny Depp – Winona, so long ago, but a classic all the same.
  5. Brodie Jenner – Avril, they had been dating for a short period, jumping the gun a bit there. She’s now divorced from her second husband, the scruffy dude from that Canadian rock band, that I secretly love the music of.
  6. Megan Fox – Brian, sadly, she’s just filed for divorce recently.

The list really just goes on.  As for the vow renewal, here’s a quick list:

  1. Heidi Klum and Seal (every year on their wedding anniversary)
  2. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman (2 months before he filed for divorce)
  3. Mariah Carrey and Nick Cannon
  4. Kris and Bruce Jenner
  5. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey
  6. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom
  7. Kate and Jon Gosselin

Again, this list goes on as well.

That said, there are a few notable couples who’ve done both who are still married/together and seemingly going strong.  Their relationships may be plagued with rumours of it breaking up, but, until they separate, let’s just assume that they’re together, happy or otherwise.

Here are some couples who are still together after they renewed their vows:

  1. David and Victoria Beckham;
  2. Ice T and Coco
  3. Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso
