Top 10 shows you forgot are still on TV

Always funny, often forgotten

News today that Martin Henderson would be replacing Patrick Dempsey in Grey’s Anatomy.  I was shocked.  Grey’s is still on television?

So, in honour of Grey’s renewal for another season, and my having complete surprise that it’s still running, here is a list of shows you may be surprised to find are going to be coming back in September 2015.  These are great shows, when you tune in, you wonder to yourself why you stopped watching them, and how you can catch up.

10. The Middle

Whenever I tune in, I am amazed at how funny this show actually is.  The dysfunctional family at its best.

9. Modern Family

I forget that its on TV, until I am reminded that Sofia is one of the highest paid TV actors.  You go girl!

8. Once upon a time

Once The Saviour saved everyone and broken the spell, you’d think that that would be the end of it.  Then came along Pan, at which point, we lost interest.  This show finds new villains and ways to continue its adventures.  Although, Snow and Charming are long forgotten, it is the time of the Evil Queen.

7. Bones

It is questionable whether or not Bones and Booth will actually return to the next season of Bones.  Only time (and studio confirmation) will tell how many of the main characters will be at the season premier.

6. Mike & Molly

With a very healthy movie career, we forget that Melissa McCarthy has a regular day job.  A sweet comedy surrounding family and life of a lovely couple.

5. Criminal Minds

This show has struggled to find a replacement for Paget Brewster, but it continues to have new brunettes join the BAU season after season, trying to find a new dynamic team.

4. NCIS

Dougie continues to dye his hair so that he’s not taking away the distinguished role away from Boss.

3. The Simpsons

After decades, the world’s favourite yellow family continue to break records and make people laugh.  I just don’t know anyone who watches the new episodes.

2. Grey’s Anatomy

With a cast as big as The Simpsons, I am amazed that it’s still running.  I would have thought that salary disputes would have put an end to this show a long time ago.

1. Law & Order: SVU

Olivia Benson just keeps coming back, season after season.  Who would have thought that this show would outlive the original Law & Order series?

Do you agree with our list, I’m sure we’ve forgotten some shows.  After all, this is the twilight zone of what’s on.
